My thoughts - I love this! I love a "vampire next door story" or any vampire stories for that matter, so when I saw this I knew I had to read it.

There are so many plot twists, and shocking, unexpected plot points - Slick's rape, and Mrs. Green taking James Harris' body to pieces in particular.

It was funny, tense, heartbreaking, and something that really struck me as unusual was that I found that I could actually relate to the character of Patricia. Not because I'm out hunting vampires or part of a book club, but because running through the story is her mental load, as a mother. I found this really interesting.

My rating - 5/5
