Synopsis - Fleetwood, who has had repeated miscarriages, is pregnant again and fears that she and the baby may not make it. She hires a mysterious midwife who gets them both caught up in witchcraft, and witch hunts.

My thoughts - While this was an interesting story, I did find the majority of it quite boring, and felt that little happened.

I didn't really think that the title connected well to the story, the familiars of the witches were only referenced a few times. I did enjoy the ending, but overall I disliked most of the characters and found it quite disappointing.
